How to get a referral

Referral agencies

All applications are processed through Bristol’s Housing and Support Register, managed by Bristol City Council’s HSR admin team.

Referral procedure

HSR admin team refer to St George and staff there will attempt to contact the young person to organise meeting for an initial needs assessment.

Support offered

Staff working a 24 hour waking cover rota. Residents are allocated a lead support worker as their main point of contact, hold weekly one to one meetings. Support workers provide advice, guidance and support assisting residents to identify strengths and areas for development, continually reviewing goals and providing support to access other specialist services as required.

Single rooms, each with own bathroom, within clusters of up to 3 rooms – those 3 people then share a kitchen (22 rooms in total). There are 3 assessment beds and 1 crash pad – both these can only be referred to by Bristol City Council.
