Single homeless women with low to medium support needs, including substance misuse, domestic violence, mental health problems. Priority given to applicants with a local connection (unless escaping domestic violence).

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept referrals from any agency. Most referrals come from Homeless Welfare and Housing Advice services.

Referral procedure

Agency referrals only. Applications via gateway scheme, completed by referral agency prior to interview. Need proof of identity, eg birth certificate, national insurance number. Risk assessment from agency required.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

6 full time staff. 24 hour cover. Compulsory keywork system (6-7 residents per worker), weekly meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 6 weeks. Keywork covers practical skills, money, health/hygiene, personal issues, housing.
