Who do we help?

Single homeless people aged 25 or over. May occasionally accept people aged 18+ if they have additional support in place. Can accept people with addiction, offending and mental health issues. Can accept couples. Can accept restricted number of people with pets. Local connection prioritised. Can accept people with dogs.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.

Referral procedure

Phone daily 9am-8.30pm - may accept referrals later in emergency. Applicant/agency completes referral form prior to interview. Require proof of ID and background information about history of homelessness, offences, etc. If referring offenders or people with substance misuse issues a referring agency risk assessment may be required.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

8 support staff who provide 1-2-1 support based on need and risk level. They will create a support and action plan for service users. In addition to that we have the Community Hub, known as The Hive, with 2 support staff providing ad hoc support Monday to Friday. Also contains an IT suite, offers education and training opportunities, peer support and volunteering, events and activities. . 12 other agencies working from the space. Including a nurse practitioner and a Mental health nurse Emergency on-call system for out of office hours. The office is staffed from 08.30am to 00.30am.
