Young single people who are homeless or at risk. Priority given to applicants with a local connection to Northumberland.

Who we cannot help

History of violence, arson or sex offence. Chemical dependency.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.

Referral procedure

Phone, call in Mon-Fri 10am-4pm, email, write for application form, completed by applicant & referral agency. Interview. Need proof of ID, eg birth certificate, passport, NI card, bank statement, benefit, government office letter.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

2 full time and 1 part time staff plus volunteers on-site Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, emergency on-call system. Compulsory keywork system (4 residents per key worker), keywork meetings as necessary. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff provide support with budgeting, employment and training, health and hygiene, sexual health. Life skills training.
