Single people who are street homeless and are eligible for benefits. Can accept couples, people with pets and people with alcohol, drug & mental health problems. Must have a local connection to access the service. Can accept people with dogs.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency - most come from the police, Social Services, Crawley Borough Council, probation service and the local CAB. Prioritise local connection.

Referral procedure

Phone call. Prefer applicants to call in themselves as beds allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Support offered

25 full time and 3 part time staff and volunteers, 24 hour waking cover. key worker system with weekly sessions. Staff provide advice on benefits and move-on housing options, counselling and help with accessing statutory and other voluntary agencies. Adult education and life skills classes.
