Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young single people aged(17 with a social worker) 18-24 with low-medium support needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Applicants must be willing to engage with the support and training service. Local connection required.

Who we cannot help

History of arson, violence or sex offence. Unmanaged addictions.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

All referrals must be made through the Bath and North East Somerset Gateway. Application form online at www.housingsupportgatewaybathnes.org.uk

Referral procedure

Gateway application form completed by applicant. All applicants will be called in for an interview, needs assessment and risk assessment before room becomes available. Wait time can be up to 3 months depending on waiting list.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

4 members of staff, emergency on-call system. Keywork system with meetings held weekly/fortnightly. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Staff offer support with independent living skills, mental and emotional health, family issues, physical and sexual health and education, training and employment.
