How to get a referral

Referral agencies

All referrals through York House at Leicester Council.

Referral procedure

All applicants must register as homeless with Leicester Council. Call in to York House at 91 Granby Street Mon & Weds-Fri 9am-4pm, Tues 1pm-4pm, or phone Mon, Weds, Thurs 9am-5pm, Tues 1pm-5pm, Fri 9am-4.30pm or Sat 10am-1pm.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

13 full time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Staff offer advice, help and support to all residents on an individual basis, as required. Can refer to specialist agencies. Training and recreational activities, including IT, cooking, personal health, anger management, arts and crafts, gym, swimming and football.
