Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-25 who have support needs in areas such as life skills or budgeting, and who have a local connection to LB Brent. Target 50% women and 45% people from black and minority ethnic groups.
Who we cannot help
Those with a recent history of violence. Those who have been unable to sustain hostel accommodation. People unable to cope with the low levels of support offered by the project.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Named agency referrals via Brent START Plus Team.
Referral procedure
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Form completed by applicant and referring agency. Interview. Require proof of last 6 months rent payments. Require proof of ID.

Support offered
One part time member of staff available at on-site office for 15 hours per week Mon-Fri (hours vary), emergency on-call system. Compulsory monthly keywork sessions. Action plan with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 6 months. Assist residents to set up and maintain benefits claims and develop independent living skills.
