Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people with low support needs. No local connection required. Must be willing to volunteer for forty hours a week in our retail businesses, café, vans, and donation sorting areas. All residents must sign off any State Benefits, and they will receive a voluntary allowance, and savings each week. No drugs or alcohol allowed on site.
Who we cannot help
Chemically dependent individuals. Schedule 1 offenders. History of violence, arson or sex offence.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept referrals from any agency.
Referral procedure
Fill out our online referral from at www.emmausbrighton.co.uk. Application form completed by applicant and agency prior to interview. If they are suitable, they will be asked to come up for an interview with the Community Manager, and support staff.

Support and accommodation
Support offered
Low support needs, two full time support workers, regular support sessions. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Provide general advice and support around life skills, and budgeting. Can help to provide courses both vocational and non-vocational, support with move on when ready.
