How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept referrals from local agencies working with young people.
Referral procedure
: Phone Mon-Fri 10am-3pm for information, including details for self-referrals on how to be referred. Initial assessment made by professional supporting the young person, then referral form is completed with young person. Require background information and References from social workers, Probation or other professional involved in the support of the young person, such as teachers.

Support and accommodation
Support offered
Staff provide support on a range of issues, main focus on housing and life skills. 24 Hour On-call support at night and weekends. Hosts provide a safe place and are available to listen. Befriending support from a Peer who has experienced Nightstop themselves.

Units
Room in volunteer host's house. Total spaces may vary, depending on number of volunteer hosts and make up of household can vary. Rooms are often En-suite or have access to their own bathroom and some are shared with the hosts depending on size of home.

Public transport
Transport is provided. On the first night at a new hosts' home, staff or a volunteer driver will take you to the hosts' home. We provide bus passes for return journeys and to get to hosts home when staying again.
