Young people aged 16-21 who are leaving the care of the local authority and require support with moving towards independent living. Must have a local connection to Birmingham.
Who we cannot help
People with a history of violence, arson or sex offences. Current drug users.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept self referrals and referrals from Children & Families and any agency via Youthline.
Referral procedure
Phone Youthline (0300 303 0099, 24 hours daily) which is operated by St Basils in partnership with 4 other organisations. Youthline is responsible for assessing the support needs of young people aged 16-25 in Birmingham and for arranging appropriate levels of support.

5 full time staff, 2 volunteers, emergency on-call system. key worker system, with at least weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed at least every 6 months. Provide emotional and practical support around budgeting, healthcare, benefits, employment and training. Also help with developing independent living and social skills.
