Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Vulnerable young people aged 16-21 who need supported accommodation for a maximum of 12 months. Must engage with support, be clean of drugs and agree to get involved in college/training. Must have a local connection to Birmingham.

Who we cannot help

People with a history of violence, arson or sex offences. Those who are unwilling to engage with the service.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency via the Youthline.

Referral procedure

Phone Youthline Mon-Fri 9am-5pm who will assess whether referral into supported housing is appropriate and if so identify whether there is an appropriate vacancy in this or in other projects in Birmingham.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

2 full time staff on-site Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm, emergency on-call system. Keywork system, meetings at least weekly according to need. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed as and when required. Provide emotional and practical support around budgeting, healthcare, benefits, employment and training. Also help with developing independent living and social skills.
