How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept referrals from any agency. Most referrals come from St Albans District Council, St Albans Open Door and the Probation Service.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat-Sun 9am-6pm or write. Applicant and agency complete application form before interview. Need proof of ID and background information, eg CPA notes, care plans, risk assessment, housing references.

Support offered

7 staff, available 8am-10pm daily, waking night cover. Compulsory keywork system (8 residents per key worker), with weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 6 months. Staff provide support around independent living skills, social skills, self-esteem, training and employment.
