Who do we help?

Martin House is part of the Single Homeless Pathway in St. Albans, alongside Open Door and Kent House. The aim of the project is to provide short-term supported accommodation for rough sleepers or those at risk of rough sleeping. To be eligible for this accommodation, applicants must be:- • Aged 18 years old or over. • Rough sleepers, have a history of rough sleeping or be at risk of rough sleeping or homelessness. • Requiring housing related support. • Willing to accept support and engage with staff. • Able to pay the rent though housing benefit or other means. • Have a local connection with St. Albans City and District, or Hertfordshire (priority will be given to applicants with a local connection to St. Albans City & District).

4 Full time support staff plus 1 part time support staff - 3 Day support staff, 2 waking night staff. Key work sessions once a week, on-call support for out of hours, Housing related support, signposting and referrals to specialist providers-Alcohol/Drug, mental health.
