Young single homeless or at risk of people aged 16-25 with support need. Must have local connection to Torbay.

Who we cannot help

Only consider those with high support needs, or dependency, that are engaged with services and have a support package

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.

Referral procedure

Cannot accept direct referral – all referrals to be made via Youth Homeless prevention panel – Torbay Council Homeless prevention / Poverty reduction and Early help Team. Priority referrals are made via Youth Homeless Prevention Team – Torbay Council. ( 16/17 years olds and 18plus care experienced ) 18 pus non statutory duty – referral via Housing Options – Torbay Council.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

1 x full time tenancy sustainment worker 3 x youth development worker 1 x training and employability development worker , support hours on a rota between hours of 09:00-20:00 Mon-Fri Saturday 9-4.30pm , Night security staff – 5.00pm – 9.00am plus 24 hrs Sat & Sun. Keyworker system with additional specific support roles around tenancy sustainment / Training and employability.

4 x single occupancy flats. 8 x 2 bed shared units (own Bedroom / Shower room shared kitchen /living space) 3 x single self contained flats on AST located within another scheme, a short walk from The Foyer and main site
