Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless people with a history of rough sleeping who have high support needs primarily around drug misuse. Can accept those with alcohol support needs and couples (on separate tenancies). Applicants referring via HOST must have local connection.

Who we cannot help

Each referral is assessed using standard risk assessment procedure. May not accept people with a recent history of history of arson or violence, or people whose support needs cannot be met by the project.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from named agencies via HOST, eg substance misuse services, probation.

Referral procedure

Application form. Interview. Applications initially assessed by duty staff. If there are no vacancies, successful applicants are placed on waiting list.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

14 full time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Compulsory keywork system with regular meetings. Pathways Shared action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 3 months or more regularly as required. All residents are offered housing management advice and information and support around a range of issues eg independent living skills, resettlement and support to access external agencies. On-site meaningful occupation worker.
