Who do we help?

Young single homeless women aged 16-21. Priority to those with a Lewisham connection.

Who we cannot help

Women with a history of arson, violence or sexual offences. Women with drug or alcohol problems. Those with high mental health support needs. However, each case is considered on its merits.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Referrals only by LB Lewisham's SHIP Team.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm to check vacancies. Application form completed by referral agency and prospective resident. Interview. Require social reports and written report from referral agency.

6 full time, 7 part time staff, 24 hour cover. key worker system with monthly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Provide advice on benefits, housing, education and training. In house education and wellbeing activities. In-house counselling service.
