Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young single homeless people aged 18-25 with low to medium support needs. Must have a local connection to the Birmingham area, and a commitment towards engaging in employment, education, training and/or volunteering, and engaging with our support service.

Who we cannot help

Any young people that are classed as high risk.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

No direct referrals. All referrals come to the scheme from Youthline/St Basils. Each young person is triaged by St Basils, who forward the referral to the scheme.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

Holistic housing-related support package provided by Midland Heart staff to each young person, supporting each young person’s individual needs. Supporting young people to access relevant third-party support from specialist providers within the Birmingham area is also encouraged, wherever identified as necessary.
