Who do we help?

Homeless people with a Redcar and Cleveland BC connection, single parents, and those with mild mental health problems or learning difficulties. Can accept couples and families. Pets accepted after risk assessment. Can accept people with dogs.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from Redcar and Cleveland Council Housing Homeless Section and young people coming through the RCBC Children's' Services protocol.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Thurs 9.30am-4.30pm, Fri 9.30am-4pm for appointment. Referral and risk assessment form completed by referral agency. Professionals Meeting followed by referee Interview. May require additional information from mental health or learning disability services.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

2 full time and 1 part-time member of staff. Mon-Fri 9am-4.30pm. Planned Home visits in 1st and 3rd week, every 4 weeks thereafter. Although staff will visit more frequently in the event of difficulties. Advice and assistance around tenancy management. No out of hours cover.
