Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless people aged over 18, including those with mild learning difficulties, some physical disabilities, those recovering from drug/alcohol dependency (with support from other agency), and ex-offenders. Must have a Hertfordshire connection or confirmation that is able to remain on other local housing register, or be willing to take up PRS accommodation.

Who we cannot help

Unmanaged addictions. Schedule 1 offenders. Sex offenders.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from Welwyn Hatfield Council for local area applicants. Accept self referrals or referrals from any agency for applicants outside local area. Can accept referrals direct from prison.

Referral procedure

Contact 8am-10pm daily. Application form. Interview. Require proof of ID and proof of income/benefits.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

6 full time Support Workers, and 1 part time available 8 am to 10 pm every day of the year. Reception cover 24/7. Off-site Counsellor available. Residents are supported to identify their needs and life aspirations and guided to take small steps towards achieving them through key working. All residents have a named key worker. Complex Needs worker is available if needed. In addition to this we also have a Chaplaincy team.
