Young single people aged 16-25 in housing need with a local connection to Welwyn Hatfield District. Can accept parent with a baby under 6 months old.

Who we cannot help

Convicted arsonists, Schedule 1 offenders.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept referrals from any agency. Most referrals come from Welwyn Hatfield District Housing Department.

Referral procedure

Agency referrals only. Phone daily 8am-8pm. Application form. Interview. Require proof of ID and background information.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

6 full time and 2 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Staff provide support around developing independent living skills, basic skills and vocational skills. Residents not working or in training will be given a period of time to find suitable and recognised activity to remain at the Foyer.
