How to get a referral
Referral agencies
All referrals come via Wigan Council's Housing Support Access Point.
Referral procedure
Referrals via HSAP ( see www.wigan.gov.uk). Require proof of ID, eg birth certificate, driving licence, benefits letter etc. Need risk assessment from referring agency. 6 emergency access beds, 4 of which are 4 weeks stay maximum.

Support offered
5 full time staff cover weekly rota on-site during day, Manager available Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, plus overnight security/concierge. Keywork system (approx 11 residents per support worker), fortnightly-monthly meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 6 weeks. Staff provide support around benefits, budgeting, debt, alcohol and drug problems, mental and physical health, offending behaviour, employment, training and education. Liaison with other support agencies.
