Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless including ex-offenders, those who may be at risk of offending or who have substance/alcohol misuse problems. Exist must be in place by referral before being consided for accommodation. Local connection is not needed. Can not accept sex offenders.
Who we cannot help
Those with offences against children or young people. Schedule 1 offenders. Arsonists. Those who may present a risk to other residents or staff.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept referrals from any agency, including Probation Service. Will accept referrals direct from prison.
Referral procedure
Phone daily 24 hours. Referral form and interview assessments. May require some background information, eg probation reports, details of previous supported housing placements etc.

Support and accommodation
Support offered
The service offers support in areas such as addressing offending and substance misuse issue, setting up and maintaining a home, managing finances, claiming benefits and developing domestic and life skills. The service assesses those thought to be vulnerable and who may be finding it difficult to sustain a tenancy. Support levels are negotiated and planned according to the identified needs.
