Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Southend Young People Supported Housing provides short-term supported housing for young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The service operates across three schemes in Southend-on-Sea, offering a mix of fully furnished shared housing and self-contained flats. Residents receive tailored support from staff available throughout the day to meet individual needs, helping them build stability, develop independent living skills and move towards longer-term accommodation.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
We accept direct applications and referrals from any agency. All referrals are to be sent via Southend Access Point.
Referral procedure
We accept direct applications, please request an appliction form from us. For rerrals from Southend Access Point, call 0845 602 7892 or email southendaccesspoint@peabody.org.uk. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.

Support offered
Stanier House/Mallard Court - 5 Project Workers available daily 8am - 10pm, Concierge on site and on call support at night. Centurion House staffed weekdays 9-5. Concierge on site and on call support at night.

14 bedrooms at Stanier House, eight bedrooms and a self-contained flat at Centurion House, plus ten one-bedroom flats at Mallard Court and two shared two-bedroom flats. All properties are fully-furnished.
