Who do we help?

Couples and single homeless people/rough sleepers with support needs with a Manchester connection and "an active desire to participate" in a programme of support. Accept people with multiple needs and dogs.

Who we cannot help

Every client assessed on a case by case basis to see if we can manage risk at that time.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept referrals through MAS gateway only.

Referral procedure

All referrals need to come through the MAS gateway. To be assessed for the MAS system client needs to speak with Manchester city council rough sleepers team, charities such as booth centre, barnabus, shelter, centre point and other temporary accommodations e.g. night shelters.

Support offered

8 full time staff on throughout the day, 24 hour staffing with security. Compulsory key work system, with meeting every two weeks. Support plans with agreed outcomes, devised and monitored by resident and key worker, reviewed ever at support sessions. Skills and volunteer coordinator on site hosting activities. Referrals made to external services for support.
