How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accepts referrals from the Street Homeless Prevention Team and local agencies.

Referral procedure

Contact Service for referral form (either by phone or email) Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or the Street Homeless Prevention Team. Referrals are discussed at a multi-agency panel that meets twice weekly. streethomeless@southampton.gov.uk or southamptonhrs@ssj.org.uk

Support offered

Staffed Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm with out of hours emergency support via SSJ's Operational Security Team (OST). Residents will be allocated a Project Worker who will adopt a trauma informed approach to ensure individuals are 'tenancy ready' for their longer term move-on accommodation.
