Who do we help?
Single homeless people aged over 18, particularly those who have been sleeping rough. Will accept people with a range of support needs. Must have a local connection to LB Richmond.
Who we cannot help
Those already on a ban (always time limited) from SPEAR services. Arsonists. People with recent sexual offences. Pregnant women.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept referrals from any agency. Priority to SPEAR's outreach team and those with a local connection, then accept referrals from other agencies if vacancies not taken up. Do not accept self referrals.
Referral procedure
Phone Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm, leave a message outside hours. All rough sleepers must be verified prior to referral. Agencies must complete form and email, fax or post.

Support offered
4 staff and 3 full time trainee project workers, available 8am-10pm, 24 hour waking cover provided by night worker. key worker system with weekly meetings and action plans which addresses issues around health, general welfare and resettlement. Offer help with claiming benefits, accessing appropriate health care/counselling services, life skills and emotional support working towards their recovery.
