Who do we help?

Young people aged 16-25 with support needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including couples, singles and single parents, with children up to 24 months. No local connection required.

Who we cannot help

Schedule 1 sex offenders. Arsonists may be accepted if cleared by insurance company.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Referrals from St Basils Youth Hub only.

Referral procedure

Phone St Basils Youth Hub Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or Youthline (0300 303 0099 daily 24 hours daily). Interview, and needs and risk assessment at The Link. Placed on pre-registered list if suitable. When vacancy arises The Link carry out up to date background checks.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

6 full time staff available 24/7, 1 part-time night worker. Keywork system (12 residents per worker). One boost worker to engage young people in Education, Employment and training. Monthly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff provide advice & support around life skills, budgeting, benefits, cooking, hygiene, sexual health and substance misuse, employment, education, training, family mediation.
