Who do we help?

Single homeless people with a history of substance misuse. Must no longer be using drugs or alcohol, and be willing to engage with drug & alcohol testing. Must have a local connection to LB Hackney.

No automatic exclusions.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Referrals managed by Hackney Single Homeless and Rough Sleeper Referral Panel, Hackney DAAT and community drug/alcohol services.

Assessment and face to face assessment.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

Staff available Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm, emergency on-call system. Staff provide support on a range of practical and emotional issues on a keywork basis with weekly meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Residents also have access to St Mungo's Broadway's specialist work and learning team, welfare rights worker, money advice and a befriending scheme.
