Single homeless people with mental health problems who are willing to work towards independence. Priority to those with a local connection to LB Islington.

No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Only accept referrals from statutory mental health services and voluntary agencies in LB Islington via LB Islington Referrals Co-ordinator Team.
Referral procedure
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm for an application form, to be completed by prospective resident. Applicants make an informal visit, followed by an interview. Require mental health and risk assessments.

Support and accommodation
Support offered
8 project staff, sleep-in cover at hostel. Staff visit residents regularly in shared houses. Each resident is allocated a key worker with whom they meet regularly to agree action plans, review progress and discuss any issues of concern. Higher level of support offered to residents in the hostel than in the shared houses. Life skills training course. Access to St Mungo's work and learning projects.
