Who do we help?

Single homeless people predominantly aged 16-25 with low to medium support needs. No local connection required. Must be willing to work on a personal development plan and pursue employment, training or educational opportunities.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Referrals come from the Devon County Council & Exeter City Council Homeless Prevention Panel and Young Persons Housing Forum and direct referrals.

Referral procedure

Applications can be made at Exeter City Council and the Exeter Youth Enquiry Service (Young Devon), Social Services or other agencies. Exeter Foyer require 2 references before considering an application, will then interview and reassess the application before making a decision.

Support offered

Support staff on-site Mon-Fri 8am-10pm, Sat 8am-4pm weekends, concierge nightly 5-30pm-midnight, night security cover Mon-Fri 11.30pm-8am, 24 hours at weekends. Compulsory keywork system (6-7 residents per key worker) with regular meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly, sooner if requested. Staff offer guidance and support with independent living skills, education and training.
