Who do we help?

Young single homeless people aged 16-25. Applicants must have a local connection to Basildon and be willing to engage in life skills, and actively engage in acquiring education, training or employment.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept referrals from named local statutory and voluntary agencies, including Basildon District Council, Social Services, Probation Service and Basildon Community Drug and Alcohol Service.

Referral procedure

Email to be sent to below address requesting a copy of the referral form. Upon return of the completed form the application will be discussed at the joint referral panel, which the person who has made the referral may be required to attend.

Support offered

Staff available 9am-10pm daily, waking night cover and emergency on-call system. Keywork system with weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Residents are required to attend life skills sessions. Staff help with independent living skills, accessing training, seeking employment and liaison with external agencies.
