Who do we help?

Young people aged 16 and 17 who are in housing crisis and have complex needs. Must have a 1 year local connection to LB Brent.

Arsonists.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from LB Brent START Plus.

Referral procedure

Application form completed by referring agency and applicant. Interview. Must have proof of ID, eg birth certificate, passport, and proof of benefits. Also require risk assessment.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

1 full time member of staff and 1 volunteer based on-site, 24 hour waking cover (by staff supporting residents in the main hostel, which houses the Crashpad). Compulsory keywork system with at least weekly meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes reviewed monthly. Staff provide support around independent living skills, resettlement, family mediation and employment and training.
