Single homeless or insecurely housed people, including those with multiple and complex needs (e.g. ex-offenders, people with drug, alcohol and mental health problems). Priority given to those with a local connection to Sussex area. People of all ages above 18.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept referrals via St Clare's Community Hub only.
Referral procedure
Most referrals via St Clare's Community Hub. Some directly from other Turning Tides housing services. Some referrals directly from Local Council. Meet all referred clients for initial discussions. Strengths based referral form and assessment process.

Support offered
24-hour cover with waking staff available. A holistic PIE approach is used - residents work in partnership with their key worker, the whole staff team and local agencies on a personalised route out of homelessness. The service adopts the harm minimisation approach in regards to alcohol and substances. Counselling and specialist roles within the organisation can offer specific interventions.
