How to get a referral

Referral agencies

All referrals have to be made to Housing Needs and Advice service at Portsmouth CC and are managed by the city council's Independent Housing Assessor.

Referral procedure

All referrals are made through the young persons' housing panel managed by Portsmouth Housing Options - 1st Floor, Civic offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth PO1 2AX, email housing.options@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or phone 023 9283 4989.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

24 hour waking cover. Compulsory keywork system, meetings at least weekly. Support plans using Recovery Star with agreed outcomes, reviewed at each meeting. Staff provide advice and support with life skills, health, training, employment and resettlement.
