Short-term supported housing for individual men and women between the ages of 18 and 65. Drug and Alcohol support, budgeting, DV support groups, Art groups, Music groups, Men and Women's separate support groups.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

All referrals to the hostel must come through BCP council’s SP Hub. Referrals to lower supported (visited staff only) can be referred directly to sarah.watson@ymcabournemouth.

Referral procedure

Phone or call in at BCP Housing Options Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. Require proof of identity. Application form and interview. May require further information, eg probation or psychiatric reports Direct referrals can be made by emailing sarah.watson@ymcabournemouth.org.uk or calling 01202 209451.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

15 full time, 2 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Key worker system. Staff provides general advice and information, assistance with living skills, counselling, training and employment. Needs assessment and support planning.
