Young single homeless people aged 16-24 with a Brighton and Hove connection (living in the area for 3 out of last 6 months or 3 out of last 5 years, or with close family in city).

Who we cannot help

Current drug users or people with pets.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from Supporting People Assessment Team (SPAT). Under 19s can be referred via Youth Advice Centre drop-in at Ovest House, 58 West Street, Brighton BN1 2RA, tel 01273 828828.

Referral procedure

Phone or call in at Brighton & Hove Council SPAT Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, or drop-in at Youth Advice Centre Mon-Fri 1pm-5pm. Application form completed prior to interview.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

24 hour support at main Lansworth House building and Gareth Stacey House, lower level of support at other 3 projects. Compulsory key worker system, weekly keywork meetings. Staff provide assistance with life skills training and make referrals to counselling and mediation services. In-house trainer assists with access to training and education. Residential volunteer offers varied social programme.
