Young single homeless people aged 16-25 with low to medium support needs. Includes care leavers, young offenders and unaccompanied asylum seeking children.

Who we cannot help

Unmanaged addictions. Schedule 1 offenders. Sex offenders. Danger to self or others. Recent history of arson.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Referrals to East Street or Aylestone Centre for High/Med support needs via Leicester City council Housing Options service. Referrals to shared houses for low support for people in education, employment or training can be accepted directly to The Y.

Support offered

Staff based on-site 24 hours, night premises officers. On-call emergency system. Keywork system. Staff provide practical and emotional support around life skills, budgeting, benefits, finding training/employment.
