Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young single people aged 16-35 who are homeless or in housing need and have low support needs. Must be entitled to welfare benefits. Must have a local connection.

Who we cannot help

History of arson, violence, schedule 1 or sex offence. Unmanaged addictions. Danger to self or others.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Most referrals come through the Local authority Housing Option Teams, Probation, YOT, Children's Services, Alone in London, New Horizon. Will accept all agency referrals.

Referral procedure

Named agency referrals only, but willing to add external agencies as referrals. Referring agency completes an e-form for our referral process. https://www.tfaforms.com/4772849. Young person invited to attend a needs & risk assessment. If suitable, put on waiting list and move in arranged when vacancy arises. Require proof of nationality, ID, income and NI number.

Support offered

8 full time, 1 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork sessions provide information, advice and guidance around housing, welfare benefits, education, employment and training.
