Young, single people aged 16-24 who are homeless in an emergency.

Unmanaged addictions, schedule 1 offenders, needs too high, danger to self or others.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from Norwich City Council, South Norfolk Council, Broadland District Council, Breckland and Norfolk County Council (Children's Services/EDT teams only).

Referral procedure

Referrals are taken by phone between 12-7pm. A housing application form including all relevant risk information should be sent by the referral partner following the initial phone contact with Nightstop.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

General support from volunteer when young person is in their home. Duty worker available for signposting & advice from 12-7pm. Out of Hours phone line available.

Rooms in hostel only offered if accommodation in a volunteer's home is unsuitable due to enhanced needs/risk.

Public transport

Volunteer driver available to offer transport, but all placements are accessible by public transport.
