Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young people aged 16-21. Can accommodate up to the age of 25 if a qualifying young person. Currently or at risk of being homeless. High priority lies with under 18s homeless and young people with social services involvement. Can accommodate over 18 with no involvement if there is space. Does not allow animals and cannot accommodate families.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Social services, ART team and local Council.

Referral procedure

Various referral methods. If via CSC and under 18 usually referred by the ART team, if via the council or agency or direct application then a homelessness assessment needs to take place, and we take the referral from the council. An appointment is made to come in, an assessment takes place which looks at history of the young person and support needs risks. Then background information will bed asked for from all relevant connected agencies.

Support offered

Have a full staff team. This is semi independent, residents expected to attend their set sessions. 24/7 staffed. Support ranges from financial support, staying safe, being healthy, positive contributions, enjoying and achieving and move on.
