Organisations and workers need to understand the legal entitlements young people have, alongside their own duties to safeguard in order to protect, support and advocate for young people under their care.

These resources unpick different legislative frameworks affecting young people’s housing pathways. They provide guidance and information on safeguarding issues and legal entitlements of young people. They explain the different roles agencies, services and individual workers have in responding to youth homelessness and practice-based advice on how individuals and organisations can advocate for and support young people.
