Inflation has rapidly driven up the cost of delivering services while funding for services has remained static. As part of our Annual Review of Homelessness Services 2022, two thirds of members have told us their services are no longer financially viable and almost half (47%) are facing closures. The Spring Budget is a vital opportunity for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to reiterate his commitment to ending rough sleeping by protecting the services delivering homelessness support.

Throughout our Keep Our Doors Open campaign, Homeless Link have called on Government to give the homelessness sector the resources we need to continue our essential work. Our submission to the Spring Statement 2023 continues to call on Government to uplift sector funding in line with inflation.
