In the final episode of Series 2 of the Going Beyond Podcast, we speak with Alex, Viv, Lauren and Vicky from the National Practice Development Team at Homeless Link. We use this episode to reflect on the series as a whole, discuss the key messages, and talk about anything which resonated with us.
During the episode, we discuss the idea of 'failing' when working in the homelessness sector, and how failing is part of a journey, and a mechanism of time. We discuss the personal and structural causes of feelings of failure and burnout, and think about the importance of embedding reflective practice and appropriate support into all levels of organisations.
