We're delighted to welcome Dine With Us as a new member of Homeless Link!
Dine With Us is a grassroots charity, which started in October of 2015. Starting off feeding homeless people but now welcoming anyone experiencing food poverty or isolation.
Dine With Us aims to support people experiencing homelessness, deprivation and social exclusion in their area by providing a warm, homecooked meal (including vegetarian) along with a mass array of fresh fruit and vegetables, flavoured breads, crumpets, wraps, filled baguettes and sandwiches, savoury pasties, slices and sausage rolls and then pudding with cream or ice cream. They started off by bucking the trend and offering far more than was normal. They are currently supporting schools and other local charities by gifting food to them for their pupils and service users.
Dine With Us would welcome more people to be included in their movement, be it individual or through work. They would also be grateful to work with more partner organisations to complement existing services and to support people in need.
