We're delighted to welcome Gloucestershire Nightstop as a new member of Homeless Link!
Gloucestershire Nightstop supports young people aged 16-25 across Gloucestershire who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
They are part of a wider network of Nightstops across the UK under the DePaul UK umbrella.
Gloucestershire Nightstop offer night by night emergency accommodation in the homes of trained, vetted and approved volunteers who offer their spare room to a young person in need and 'host' them for the night.
Gloucestershire Nightstop’s mission is to make homelessness, exclusion and poverty a thing of the past for young people in Gloucestershire. Their purpose is to provide safe, supportive and stable accommodation for single young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who are either homeless or at risk within their accommodation.
They also aim to provide a platform and a voice for those young people in the County of Gloucestershire affected by the issues of homelessness, exclusion and poverty.
In response to the needs of the young people that they work with, they aim to provide a wider range of services that will include longer-term accommodation provision along with life skills training and advocacy support.
