Excellence in supported housing
Do you provide accommodation that you are proud of? This award recognises high quality, safe accommodation options for individuals or couples experiencing rough sleeping or homelessness.
We are looking for supported housing solutions that enable people to have the right to open and close their own front door and feel safe and secure in their own accommodation. We want to hear about the approach you are taking, the outcomes the service is achieving and what is enabling you to make a positive difference to peoples’ lives.
Excellence in support and navigation
Are you a support service or project going the extra mile? People become homeless for a whole range of complex reasons. Helping someone out of homelessness is often about more than putting a roof over their head. This award celebrates projects or services that ensure the individuals you are supporting are at the centre of what you do.
We are looking for inclusive and compassionate services providing the right support to meet individuals’ specific, diverse needs and aspirations and can show that this is supporting them out of homelessness.
Best health and wellbeing initiative
Are you providing a health initiative that is improving the health or wellbeing of people experiencing homelessness? With homelessness having a devastating impact on someone’s health and wellbeing, homelessness services play an important role in improving the health outcomes of people in housing need. This award celebrates good quality care that is designed with and for patients.
We are interested in health initiatives that are inclusive and accessible to everyone reducing health inequalities, and that are leading to improved physical and mental health outcomes enabling people to recover and remain well.
Outstanding achievement in outreach and rough sleeper provision
Is your service helping people move away from the streets for good? Rough sleeping is dangerous and causes serious health issues. This award recognises approaches that either prevent rough sleeping from happening in the first place, or tailored, rapid responses that intervene and help someone recover and build an independent life off the streets where it does happen.
We are interested in the approach you are taking, the outcomes the service is achieving and what specifically is enabling you to make a positive difference to peoples’ lives.
Social enterprise of the year
Are you a social entrepreneur or involved in a social enterprise that is reducing economic inequality, improving social justice or contributing to environmental sustainability? This award recognises social enterprises that can demonstrate a clear mission and strategic direction alongside a social impact that is creating better outcomes for individuals experiencing homelessness.
We are interested in social enterprises that are having commercial success, where more than 50% of the enterprise’s income is secured through trading and whose profits are re-invested to help to transform lives.
