We offer tailored support for boards and executive teams to help organisations strengthen and improve their governance, including:

Developing Boards

We can support organisations to recruit Trustees and help to develop Board Members individual skills and roles. Our Consultants can also help to create meeting structures and guide you through the process of Board meetings.

Board or Staff Away Days

We can support you to organise and facilitate Board or staff away days.

We recently developed an away day for a large Homelessness Charity in London who had been through significant changes and recruited a new CEO. We held an away day for staff and managers to celebrate their achievements to date, but also to reflect on areas for improvement and aims for the future. This time away helped the team to develop a clear strategy that they could all take ownership of.

Finance

We support accommodation providers around rent setting and Housing Benefit issues and we can also support with improving internal financial systems.

Our consultants also work with charities and social enterprises to become financially resilient which includes developing fundraising strategies and opportunities around increasing unrestricted income.

Become a Registered Provider

Homeless Link also supports organisations to meet the standards that are required to become a Registered Provider. Our Consultants work with Boards and Senior Managers to understand the registration process and develop their internal governance.
