The HOME Study has strong measures in place to make sure your data is kept safely and held securely.
Even though your data will be safe we understand that some people will not want their data to be used in this research. If you do not want us to use your data, you can choose to opt out.
As this is a research project with permission to use NHS data granted by the Confidential Advisory Group, the NHS National Data Opt-Out applies. This means if you have already told the NHS that you don’t want your data to be used in research projects, we are not allowed to use your health data and you will be removed from our dataset. You do not need to opt-out separately here.
Whether you choose to opt out or not this will have no effect on your healthcare, accommodation options or any other support or services you receive.
Opting out
To opt out, please send your name and date of birth to one of the options below. After your organisation's opt-out period has closed, your data will no longer be identifiable, and we will therefore not be able to remove it. Please ask the service that holds your information for the opt-out deadline if you are unsure.
