We’re excited to announce that a new CIH Level 4 Homelessness Service Management qualification is on the way!
Providing professional recognition
Following the success of delivering the CIH Level 3 Certificate in Providing Homelessness Services, we’ve worked with CIH to develop this new course - designed especially for managers and team leaders working in homelessness services - to help provide a pathway of learning and professional recognition of the workforce.
Meeting the Competence and Conduct Standard through trauma-informed, person-centred services
This qualification focuses on building the knowledge and skills needed to manage person-centred, trauma-informed services that deliver positive outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.
It will also meet the new requirements of the Competence and Conduct Standard, which comes into effect in October 2026 under the Social Housing Regulation Act.
Shaped by the sector and those with lived experience
The course content has been developed in collaboration with Homeless Link members to ensure it reflects the realities and current practices within the homelessness sector. Crucially, it has also been reviewed by people with lived experience of homelessness, ensuring the qualification is rooted in what matters to those accessing services.
Supported by government funding
We’ve been able to develop this course thanks to funding from the UK Government through the Voluntary and Community Frontline Sector Grant.
